ˀWhy?
Global Competency Olympiad (GCO) is an initiative taken by Inner Space, whose goal is to promote Language and Numeracy Skills at an early age.
• The Olympiad is designed to encourage students to gauge their potential in the areas of listening, speaking, reading, and writing, numeracy skills.
• It will help in nurturing child’s skill and facilitate teachers and parents to understand level of skill, which can be further enhanced with respective activities.
• This initiative of its first kind where the Olympiad is prepared in alignment of NEP 2020.
How?
The Assessment would be conducted in three areas:
• Literacy
• Numeracy
• Environmental Science (EVS)
• As per foundation stage form Preschool to Grade 2.
• Preparatory Booklet will be given to students.
• The examination will be conducted in four levels.
Level 1: Interschool Level
Level 2: Intercity Level
Level 3: State Level
Level 4: National Level

Awards
• All qualifying participants will receive a participation certificate, a Memento and reports reflecting their grade
• Trophies for best performance student.
• Trophy’s would be given at State and National level.
• Trophy for best school
• Trophies for best schools with maximum no of students participating
